April Favorites

I have not written in this for so long but I have had an urge to write in a blog for some reason. I read an article a couple of weeks ago about how one person documented what they ate for 365 days and then wrote a book about it. Ever since I got food poisoning in January and threw up for the first time in 20 years, I have written a note in my iphone that lists places that have gotten me sick after eating there. So then I thought, if I take a picture of EVERYTHING that I eat for 365 days, then I may actually be able to help pinpoint my acid reflux/nausea/food poisoning sickness that I have. BUT, I have yet to take pictures of anything that I have eaten. Hopefully I will get off my lazy butt soon and do that so that I can help my stomach out a bit.

Anyway, I have these favorite things that I like and am semi-obsessed with and wanted to share it with the 1 person who reads this blog. haha

I purchased a bunch of stuff lately that I definitely do not need... but here are some things that are my favorites right now:

1. Kiehl's Deluxe Hand & Body Lotion with Aloe Vera & "GARDENIA" - it totally smells like something an old lady would wear but for some strange reason, I LOVE the smell. I find myself smelling myself on my way to work and during just because I think it smells so nice.

2. Slatkin & Co. Flower SCENTPORTABLE in Pineapple Orchid - I have this in my car right now in the passenger visor of my car and I love the smell. It's $5 and is expensive for what it is, but I think it's better than buying a cheap air freshener that makes me feel like barfing. They had a ton of different scents. I will definitely have to try the others.

3. KitchenAid Salad And Fruit Spinner: Got this at Costco for only $10. Online they have it for $30, so I think I got a pretty good deal. I did read some reviews about it, and they're not that good. But at least I did not pay as much as everyone else?seat visor and it smells soooo good. I love pineapple and it's not grossly strong but still strong enough. We will see how long it lasts though because the case that the scent comes in, is actually quite thin so I will have to keep you updated on that. It was $5.00 for one and $5.oo for the refill. I may just continue to buy it just because it smells so gosh darn nice.

I made Lemon Chicken Soup with Egg Noodles tonight because I ate a Costco hotdog with all the fixin's on a hot day and my sister said that THAT is the reason why I got sick. I literally had to RUN to the restroom at Costco or else I probably would have pooped my pants, fainted, and then barfed all over myself. Luckily, none of those things happened. So anyway, I made that soup and added some kale and did a really good job if I say so myself. I used the Costco Rotisserie Chicken that I got today.

Time to pack my lunch for tomorrow... chicken soup!
