TAN!!

So I don't think I've been up to anything remotely interesting enough to put on here... but I shall try to think of things to write... Let me see... THE WEEKEND!

Okay, so I really don't remember what I did this weekend.... but I DO remember that on Sunday I got my haircut and I feel that she might have gotten mad or something at me because I told her what I wanted and she was getting frustrated because she kept saying something else? Who knows... anyway... she cut my bangs way too short and then blow dried them and sprayed crap in it... and in the end... it made me cry. I cried on the way to Chris' and while I was there because I was so sad that my bangs were so freaking short. So after Chris tried to calm me down and tell me everything would be ok... we headed out to Hollywood to go to Amoeba. Chris got his Thievery Album and I got the Weezer Green Album that I got stolen a long time ago. Headed out to The Grove right after to get some waffles. Bought a cute dress at Nordstrom. Then we headed back to his house to do nothing but watch some television. Ended up going home and being sad that my hair was retarded and some other things that have been bothering me (I'll tell you on the phone or through aim Christy!). Just lots of things I suppose that have been bothering me.. but then the hair thing just made me want to cry.

So anyway... the next day I figured out that if I just let my bangs dry and kind of put some clay in it... they're fine. I guess I'm beginning to grow to get used to them but it was quite scary when I had asked her to cut half an inch of my bangs and then she ends up cutting about 2 inches off... not fun! So the hair thing is over and done with.

I just got some self tanner yesterday to try. It's the Origins "The Great Pretender." Heard from people at work that it works pretty well.. so I guess we'll see what happens.

I'm trying really really really really hard to cut back on my spending. I have a very limited amount of money until my next pay day because I was a loser and made payments on my credit cards and put the $50 instead of $150 in my little log of what I spend... which in the end totally fucked me over because I didn't just do it once, I did it TWICE! Horrible... so now I don't know what to do. I'll be okay I think. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't get any unexpected expenses.. or that won't be good at all!

Going to eat lunch with Juli in Tustin tomorrow morning, so I better get going to bed. Good night!

How I Missed My Computer...

So my computer has not been at my house for almost a week now and I finally got it back tonight and I have to say that I missed it very very much. I did get to read Shopaholic and Baby, which I have not finished, but I did get to read a lot of it and clean my room while my computer was gone. It wasn't even the internet that I missed... it was just the fact that I am able to entertain myself in many ways with it... like watching DVD's, listening to songs, surfing the net.... so many things!!! But yes, I am happy that it is back! hooray!

Oh, and the WORST part about not having my computer is that I had a REAL 4 day weekend... Friday to Monday.... which means I was home all those days with absolutely NOTHING to do, and I don't watch much tv... so I was pretty bored.

Friday: called out from work because I was feeling really nauseous in the morning and the night before. I woke up around 1pm and then went out to visit Chris in Riverside. That is the longest drive EVER... made me really cranky too because I kept getting lost! Ate lunch with him in the cafe, shopped with Chris in Nordstrom for a bit, i got this black camisole, white capris, and this other short sleeved top that ties in the back in purple which i can't find onlinegot a manicure at the nail salon outside of Nordstrom (which, by the way, was the worst manicure that I've EVER gotten.... but the nail color was quite pretty. I wish I had written down the name darn it.) Then I waited in my car for him to get off while I charged my phone. After that, we drove back to Claremont, had mexican food for dinner, and then we went to Ontario Mills so that Chris could find a CD that he wanted. Got Coldstone... then home I went.

Saturday: ended up calling out AGAIN because I was feeling nauseous AND I was sitting on the toilet all night (too much info, I know). I don't quite remember what I did this day... oh! went to the dry cleaners, got some boba, then drove out to hang out with Chris. He drove me to Victoria Gardens to find something to eat, but because I was still feeling sick we just got Pinkberry. Then we drove back to his house and we went to Quizno's because I wanted soup. Did that, went to Blockbuster but couldn't find a DVD so we watched a DVD that I brought from home... "Amelie." Since it is such a long movie, we didn't finish it and then I ended up going home.

Sunday: had the day off. slept in until 2pm. Went and watched "Sicko" with Chris. It was not a bad movie, but it made me really depressed and I didn't like that at all. It's a very interesting topic though, but it's one of those things where you just feel kind of helpless because I mean, what are you really going to do about it and how are you going to fix it? It's a horrible thing though, the whole health care system... very messed up. After that we ate at In-n-Out, hung out at Chris' and then home I went.

Monday: had the day off AGAIN. Woke up at 8:30am so that I could go to Chris' house and go to Huntington Beach. Got some coffee at Starbucks and off we went. Got to lay out on the beach for about 3 hours, then walked around that little restaurant/shopping area that they have across the street. Slept on the way home while Chris drove. Ordered pepperoni pizza. Then we hung out at his house for awhile. Drove out to Ontario Mills to kill some time before we went to Carl's in Riverside. Now I HAVE to say that I am extremely proud of myself for only spending $20 at Ontario Mills and getting 3 things!!!! Not too bad right? I'm starting to really like shopping at sales and finding pretty cool things. I got a pair of boxers and terry cloth shorts at Old Navy & some fake Tom Ford sunglasses at the Nordstrom Rack ALL for about $20. COOL HUH??? After Chris and I shopped, we went to Rside where Carl and his daughters were bbqing some steaks and chicken kabobs. After watching the season premiere of Extreme Makeover... we left to get some rest for work the next day.

Today: FINALLY went to work. Had a migraine for most of the day. Was so bored I was forced to go to Cinnabon and get some Cinnastix.
The owner lady knows me, it's quite sad that I go there that often that she recognizes me. Nice lady though. Then after work I picked up my computer, drove home, went to Wokcano with Chris to eat dinner, then to CVS to get some cotton balls and here I am at home.

I have tomorrow off! woo~hoo! I'm going shopping with my sister in the afternoon, eating dinner with the family, and hopefully I'll be able to go see fireworks with Christopher.... too bad he has to work. Oh well...

New Phone

So I've been obsessing a little, just a little, over the Samsung Blackjack and Motorola Q phones. I couldn't decide which one that I wanted because if I went with the Q, then I'd have to switch over to Verizon and pay a cancellation fee from Cingular. Now if I stay with Cingular, I'd have to get the Blackjack, which I didn't want as much as the Q because I found the Q to be a litte bit nicer looking. So after I dragged Chris with me everywhere to look at the phones and figure out what plan to do... I finally just decided to buy the Samsung Blackjack and keep my current carrier because switching over to Verizon and getting the Q, plus paying for cancellation fee was just waaaaay too much money that I don't have. SO there we have.... I decided to just get the Blackjack and upgrade my plan so that I can have internet access and all that great stuff.


As of now... the phone is working fine. It does get kind of static-y but I don't know if it's the phone or what... so Chris is making me use it for another week to see how it is and if I don't like it then I will be returning the mother fucker back to the Cingular store.

I do have to give Christopher huge thanks because he had to listen to me obsess over these phones for the past week nonstop and it annoyed him very very very much. So thank you for taking me to get the phone! I love you! :-) Btw... sorry for being a brat... muahahahahaha

The Weekend...

So this weekend I have no freaking clue what I did... but let's see if I can remember it while I write...

Friday: worked a closing shift. came home and then went to Cheesecake Factory with Chris where we finally decided to try something semi-different. Usually we get Steak Diane w/ Shrimp Scampi & Mashed Potatoes... but instead we decided to try the Herb Crusted Salmon and steamed green beans and I have to say that it was pretty yummy! No dessert this time thought. I think after that we went to Wal-Mart for Chris to pick up some necessities like starch and stuff like that. I think we got beach towels too but I don't remember... we go to 24 hour WalMart way too much...

Saturday: had a very irritating work day... which means that my salespeople were bothering the CRAP out of me. lots of unnecessary drama caused by retards but oh well. i closed yet again and then i THINK i went out to Chris' house where we went to P.F. Chang's to eat dinner. After that we went to Albertson's... got some Haagen Daz & cones and just lounged around in his room the rest of the night watching tv.

Sunday: Woke up at noon and waited around for Chris to come pick me up. We drove around to look at cell phones... then we went to The Grove where we got Brazilian BBQ and then saw some lady clean up puke off the ground... it was pretty disgusting. I felt pretty nasty the rest of the day because of that. I was surprised and proud of myself for not freaking out though when I saw it... so good for me!!! After that we walked around The Grove and went into Barnes & Nobles where I copied Christy and bought the newest Laurie Notaro book there's a (slight) chance i might be going to hell. After that we drove out to Ontario to watch Shrek the Third. We had popcorn, nachos and 2 Icees to entertain us throughout the movie. It was okay... I'm not much of a cartoon person, so I have to say that it was... Alllright. Then for some strange reason, when we got back to his house, I knocked the fuck out.. it was craziness!!! Chris did do something nice for me that day. I wanted ice cream and he had eaten all the Haagen Daz from the night before... so after I got mad... he went out and bought a new pint just for me! muahahahaah.... it's his fault he ate it and then lied to me and told me that his parents ate it. So it's his fault that he had to go drive down the street to the market just to buy me some so I could eat it. hahahahahahaa

Today I went to work and did absolutely nothing. Had lunch with my old manager in the food court and then did more of nothing the rest of the day. Chris and I then went to Pink's for dinner and it was quite sad because the parking attendant knows who we are. I think we go there way too often... which really isn't that often but for some reason he happens to recognize us. Strange. Anyway... we did see Patti LaBelle there...

and I have to say that in person she looks like a transvestite. She had one a short wig/weave that made her look like an Egyptian. She had short bangs and short hair... it was not cute. But she got to cut us all in line so I no longer like her because she did that. She kind of looked like how she does in that picture above but a LITTLE bit better. She looks pretty busted in the one up there... but she looked a little bit better in person... but not really. Can a transvestite really look that much better? muahahaa.. I'm so mean. I'm just mad she got to cut us all in line. Anyway... after that we drove home and I felt like puking. Not good.... but I'm better now. I think that I did not eat much today so my stomach was all going nasty inside and all the acid was making me sick... not Pink's!

So that is the end of my day and tomorrow I have to wake up at 8am to get my car to the shop to be worked on for maintenance. Have a good day. Goodbye.

Graduation!!!

I have not updated in a long ass time... which means that this will be a long update!! First... let's start off with the most interesting thing that I did last week....

Last Wednesday I went to Lindsey's (Carl's daughter) graduation at Duarte High School. I have to say that it was hot as a mofo.... but other than that... it was nice.

I woke up that morning and went to get a facial & wax at my friend Valerie's house. After that I headed to Chipotle for lunch and got a Burrito Bowl. I took a very short 20 minute nap... showered... then got ready to go to the mall to get my nails done by Kathy. After chatting with her and her friend I headed to Trader Joe's and got a bouquet of flowers for Lindsey's graduation. (I stole the idea from you Christy! hehehee...) Since it was so unbelievably hot... I went to Jamba Juice and got an Aloha Pineapple (hold the bananas). That was refreshing and I totally should have brought it to the graduation but I was stupid and left it in the car. After sweating immensely and wishing I had an ice cold bottle of water... we sat patiently and watched the graduation. It was a nice ceremony.

Ate at North Woods Inn that night with Carl's family and I have to say that it was a pretty damn good meal! I got Steak with Shrimp plate. Came with not one but TWO salads (red cabbage - THE BEST EVER!!! & lettuce with blue cheese dressing), cheese bread, baked potato, and rice pilaf. SOOOOOOOO tasty! I should've taken a picture of it, but I definitely want to go back again. It's nice comfort food. Tons of it was covered in butter and oil... but damn it was yummy!!!

Then on 6.04 Chris and I went to Disneyland. We wanted to have a relaxing day before the June Half Yearly Sale started. There aren't very many pictures from that... most of them are of me eating a pickle... it's gross. But anyway... surprisingly there were a LOT of people there that day and it was a MONDAY! Long due...

Holy crap! I have not updated this thing at all this entire month and it's already the 13th!! Wow... that's craziness. Let's see... what have I been up to....

Last week: June Half Yearly started and I had to work a lot of hours!!! Like... A LOT! From Tuesday of last week until probably Monday or Tuesday of this week I have been working 12-14 hours each day for 7 days straight!!! Not fun I tell you. Thank goodness my manager is pretty nice and understands if you wake up late or something (since she does it too). But I think everything went pretty well. I sold a decent amount this pay period and I've worked way too much OT it's ridiculous.

Yesterday was my first day off this week and I slept in until 12:30PM! It was nice to sleep and not have to do anything at all. Chris and I went to Little Tokyo to visit Michelle at her dad's Cafe.. then ate KBBQ at this place that me and Christy used to go to (remember Christy? In Little Tokyo near Oiwake's???)..... after we explored and went to Scoops near LACC. Now I read the reviews on yelp.com and I have to say that it was... interesting... but not addicting like Pinkberry. It's a nice place to try. I totally expected it to look like the inside of a Coldstone's --- you know, all air conditioned with big containers of homemade ice cream. Instead there was no air condition at all, some lumpy couches, and a small little freezer with probably 1/2 quarts of ice cream (Is that the normal size of ice cream they sell at the market?) But yeah... the man who helped us was very nice. I tried the jasmine/rose tea and coconut green tea. Chris was safe and went with strawberry and mocha cappuccino. The ice cream was good... but too much of the weird flavors made me sick. ahhahaa. It's only something I can take for a short period of time before I start wanting to gag. After that we went to Santa Anita, bought tickets for Ocean's 13... and then walked around the mall and got coffee from the Ebar. The movie was REALLY good! Makes me want to buy the first 2 DVD's because I liked it so much! I think I'm starting to really enjoy going to the movies now. I think that it's only because I like to eat the popcorn and Icee that I make Chris buy me. muahahah.

I think that's about all the excitement in my life lately. I bought some stuff lately. I'll post it for your viewing pleasure...

I think that's it. I bought a dress but I can't seem to find it online. It's a pretty silk-y dress that I can wear to a wedding or special occassion of some sort. I always have a hard time finding stuff like that, so I found one on sale and figured I should just buy it. :-) Now it's time to paint my nails!
