First, let's start with how much I've been spending these past couple of days and why there is a picture of a white chick with a bathing suit on left of this....
Saturday:
Donut Shop: $4.00 (5 Donuts for the dept. mtg and 1 Medium cup of Coffee)
Target: $120.10 (Birthday Present, Swimsuit at left, 2 Camisoles, and a pack of pens)
Nordy Buck: + $12.00 (I got this money for selling 4 pairs of Eccos on some day....)
Cafe: $9.75 (Approximately... I don't remember and I don't have the reciept. But all I know is that it was FREE bc of the money I cashed out earlier!)
E-Bar: $ 2.32 (Tall Pomegranate Lemonade)
TOTAL: I don't think I EVEN want to know how much was spent this day.... =/
So I've been searching for a bathing suit ever since Target starting putting them out on their sales floor. I LOVE Target bathing suits.. they are THE best things EVER because they are cheap and they're usually super cute! This year, they did lack in the department but I did end up finding a cute one (and trust me, it's so much cuter in person than in this picture) and once I get tan.. it'll look even cooler! (and maybe if I lose a few pounds too, but I'll deal with that later)
So I had a mtg Saturday morning at 7am-8:30am. I leave work and I'm thinking, I wonder if Target is open this early. I pull into the parking lot and people are already LEAVING with their purchases.. it looks like it's 11am on a Saturday... not almost 9am. It was crazy. But once I got inside, it was quiet but still bustling with people... so it was nice to shop like that. Tried on a couple of bathing suits I saw online and finally chose the one above. I even looked at all their shoes and tried a couple on. I felt a little guilty though, especially since I work in the shoe department at a place that sells much nicer made shoes, but still... I saw some cute ones online and had to go in and try them on. I ended up not buying any shoes though.... but they do have some cute ones!
Then on Saturday night Chris took me to Hodori and Pinkberry... I think that's our usual Saturday night thing since I usually work at 9am on Sundays. I get my craving for a noodle soup and he gets bbq meat! Perfect!!
Today:
Starbucks: $5.05 (Grande Nonfat Cappuccino & 1 Blueberry Oat Bar)
TOTAL: $5.05!!! YAY!!!
I was lazy today... didn't leave the house after I got home from work. Felt lazy.. .just wanted to lounge at home and eat random crap. Napped until forever... then watched some tv and here I am...
I get to go to a Dodger Day Game on Wednesday! I'm excited.... :-)

More Money....
I've been bad at updating this thing lately. Had an interview yesterday so I spent a bit of time preparing for it and sleeping early so that I would wake up for it. Then the night before that, I was feeling sick and since I had to work the opening shift, I took some meds and just knocked out at like 11PM. Super early if you ask me. I have another meeting tomorrow at 7am, so I will probably be sleeping early tonight too.
Today was "Susie Day" and Chris & I went to Newport Beach. I brought my camera and everything, but the battery ran out and I forgot to recharge it from last time so no fun new pictures to post on that adventure. After being at the beach for a couple of hours we went to Sonic AGAIN and got our meal for free because they had our order waiting there for 30 minutes and no one ever brought it out to us so we got a free $20 meal! HOORAY!
After that, we stopped by Fry's since it was on the way. Chris got some PS2 game & Sour Nerds while I got Corn Nuts, Cheeto Puffs, Sour Skittles and some CD-R's. hahahahaa... I bought all this junk food! Then we went to the Chinese Fast Food place my mom works at and visited her and got dinner. That is the end!

I'm Slowly Getting Better!!!
So yesterday I was really good with my spending! I didn't spend ONE PENNY! YAY for me!!! :-)
But today... I did spend a little, but not as much.
Yesterday:
TOTAL: $0
Today:
E-bar: $4.44 (Chocolate Croissant & Grande Iced Nonfat Cappuccino)
Auntie Anne's: $1.91 (Medium Lemonade & Medium Cherry Coke)
Cafe: $14.02 + tax & tip (Chicken Caesar Salad, Half Order Chicken Caesar Salad & Cup Tomato Basil)
TOTAL: $20.37
I'm kind of doing well right? And then tomorrow, I will be returning those 2 shirts that I bought on Saturday because I don't need them and I should be saving money. So I will be returning those 2 tomorrow and since I am going to dinner with Ann after work, I'm going to be needing some dinner money. Thankfully we're going to a mom/pop Thai Restaurant so it shouldn't be TOO expensive (I hope!)
I DO want these though... and if I buy them, I will get more then $20 back!!! Which will be good... hahaha.. I'm so BAD!!!
EXCEPT the ones that I want... the Light Brown part is white... the Pink part is pink and then the Dark Brown part is Navy! I can't seem to find any pictures of it online, but it's cute! Chris approved it! hahahahaha

So I got to wear my new shoes yesterday for my MIC shift and they were good until 6pm... and then my feet started to hurt. They actually still hurt right now and it's 4pm MONDAY... that's not good... the things you do to have nice shoes. Oh well... I'll just wear those shoes when I know I won't be on my feet too much because they are comfortable and have really soft leather... it's just not good to be on 3.5 - 4 inch heels walking around the store all day long in.
It's time to dig out all my receipts and see how much I spent yesterday....
Sunday:
E-Bar: $4.92 (Tall Soy Vanilla Latte & Triple Shot of Espresso)
E-Bar: $2.64 (Grande Iced Cappuccino)
Sonic: $15.96 (Super Sonic Cheeseburger, Large Chili Cheese Fries, Large Watermelon Slush, California Cheeseburger, Regular Chili Cheese Tots, and Regular Cherry Slush)
Chevron Gas: $15.01
TOTAL: $38.53
Darn that gas!!! Oh well... at least I know that today since I'm being lazy and the fact that Chris paid for my lunch, which had enough leftovers for me to eat for dinner... I won't be spending one penny today!!! YAY! That's a good thing right?

Too Many Things to BUY!
Man, I spent TONS of money today! Not a good thing....
Here's what I spent yesterday (which wasn't too bad...)
Yesterday:
Subway: $2.05 (Chicken Noodle Soup)
Nails: $15.00 (Got a fill + tip)
TOTAL: $17.05
Today:
Coffee Bean: $4.25 (Regular Vanilla Ice Blended with an Add Shot)
Dry Cleaners: $31.40
Chipotle: $13.59
Nordstrom: $152.31 (I got those Donald Pliner shoes!!!)
Nordstrom: $98.64 (I bought a black collared shirt that I've been wanting for awhile and this blouse that I can wear tomorrow b/c I am the MIC or I can just wear it to work.....)
TOTAL: $300.19
Holy crap I spent a lot of money today! No more spending or buying anything besides food for the rest of the month. Geez.... I think it was those shoes that make it look like I spent a huge amount of money. Ok... no more!!!!

Sometimes people are just crazy...
Work was not too bad today. I just wish some people would take that stick out of their butts. They think that just because they're in their position, they can talk down to people. I probably know more than they do.... argh. Anyway...
Today:
E-Bar: 2.96 (Tall Iced Coffee & Chocolate Croissant)
Forever 21: +$21.43 (I sold my giftcard to Diana for cash)
Cafe: $10.18 (Garden Salad w/Tuna, Ice Water + Tip)
Shoes for Mom: $90.66
TOTAL: $82.37 Spent
Man oh man...so that's where all my money goes. Food and random crap I buy. Well, good thing I got paid today or else I'd be super duper poor! I still think I'm doing pretty well not spending too much money on random stuff. At least I'm buying things that other people can use instead of buying myself random stuff that I don't need right? RIGHT!!!
So, there are these sandals that I really like. I have a brown multi pair, and I want the black pair since I wear black so much more than brown. Now, I LOVE the brown pair... so should I buy the black just because I love it so much?
And then there's these Donald Pliner's that I like. I could wear them with my suits and stuff. Bad thing is that they're $210.00 regular price but $152.31 with tax with my discount.
THEN there's these Cole Haan's. Cole Haan's are 40% off this weekend. I like this pair that are $185.00 and $134.18 with my discount. I kind of want both of the shoes but I probably shouldn't do that.
Now I have a valid reason why I want these shoes. I usually wear these Franco Sarto shoes that are ruining my toes, but I love them because the heel height is perfect for my pants, they're open toe, ankle strap... which means they're fairly comfortable. But today, one of the straps just tore apart!!! :-( I'm so sad. So they ARE getting repaired but I think that it might be time that I retire those shoes soon which is why I'm on the lookout for new work shoes that are that exact heel height. What to do what to do.

Slowly Saving Money...
So here I am... writing what I spend each day. Today was a little worse than yesterday... but let's so how this goes. I think that if I see what I'm spending each day... I won't want to spend so much JUST so I won't have to write it in here as another expense.
Yesterday:
E-Bar: $4.96 (Ice Storm for Me...Espresso for Chris)
Costco: $12.99 (Rotisserie Chicken for Dad... Otter Pops for Chris)
Nordstrom: +$37.71 (Returned a slip that I have not used bc I returned the skirt I was going to use it with)
TOTAL: +$19.76 (YAY! I ended up with being in the POSITIVE!!)
Today:
Toast: $37.91 (Waffle, Turkey Sausage, Cranberry Juice for Chris.... Smoked Salmon Omelette, Fresh Fruit, Iced Cappuccino, & 1 Red Velvet Cupcake and 1 Vanilla Cupcake for me + Tax and Tip)
WinCo: $19.50 (Winky Liter, Marie Claire Magazine for Me, Sunflower Seeds & Cheeto Puffs & Starch for Chris)
TOTAL: $57.41 spent
FYI: I do NOT always pay for Chris' crap. It just so happens that both these days I paid for random shit he wanted but trust me.. he pays about 90% of the time. :-)
Today was a fun day. It was "Susie Day," which means that Chris has to do whatever I want to do. So I decided to eat lunch somewhere that we have not gone to. I did my research last night and found this "trendy" place called " TOAST." I read that they are known for their cupcakes and that it's a super trendy spot. We got there and there are a lot of "trendy" people sitting outside and we're thinking "Uh-oh... snobby people."
Turns out the food was super good. My iced cappuccino was the best that I have ever had and I've had tons! I'm making Chris take me back again sometime soon because I liked it that much. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure....
On the way to LA this is what Chris looks like...
Here's Heritage Square off the 110 Freeway. I've always wanted to see the Victorian houses here...
The 110 Sign.... and Chris' dirty windshield....
TOAST!
Chris impatiently waiting for his food...
The BEST Iced Cappuccino EVER...
My Smoked Salmon Omelette, Marble Rye, and Fresh Fruit (Strawberries, Kiwi, Mango, Papaya, Grapes, Blueberries, Watermelon, & HoneyDew)
Chris' Belgium Waffle, Turkey Sausage and Whipped Cream...
Vanilla Cupcake & Red Velvet Cupcake... notice how Chris' cupcake is pink??? He's crazy...
YUM! Couldn't wait until I got home... ate it on the way to the freeway....
My cupcake after I chomped into it...
Chris tired from driving over an hour in traffic...
WinCO... the best place EVER.... it's like a super clean Food 4 Less but it's opened 24 hours a day. AND they sell bulk candy!!!! That's where I went to buy random stuff and Winky's cat liter.
After all the errands, watched the rest of The Pursuit of Happiness and ate some Spicy Pork with Rice (which Chris paid for..... woo~hoo!)
That's all for today. Good bye!

Saving Money
So last night I was paying bills and looking at my checking & savings account and have realized that I should be a little more thrifty in my spending, especially since I will be going to Vegas next month and will have to fork over some cash for the hotel room, "O" tickets, and whatever else I will need like food and etc. to keep myself happy.
In doing that... I have come to the conclusion that I will eat at home as much as I can and be as cheap as possible and not buy anything that is not really needed. So today, I will start writing in here what I purchase... so maybe I can see how retarded and careless I am in spending and then it will help me stop!!! Plus... I really want to have some nice spending cash in Vegas so I won't be stressing about how poor I am.
The day is not over yet but I have already spent a couple of dollars on coffee and at Costco. Hopefully I'll be good for the rest of the day.

Ryan & Crystal's Wedding
So I'm copying Christy and starting a blog on this thing instead of on xanga in order to entertain myself.
Here's what I did this past weekend...
Friday: Worked from 1-7pm and then headed out to Claremont/Upland to Ryan & Crystal's rehearsal dinner. Had some really good lasagna, salad and tiramisu from Olive Garden. Then hung out at Chris' and got more food at in-n-out.
Saturday: Woke up at 7:30am to go to a manager meeting. Then after that I showered and headed out to go get my hair blow dried and straightened by Maureese. Went to Chris' and got ready for the wedding. Drove to Corona where I got to sit and wait while Chris and everyone else got to take pictures because they were a part of the wedding party. Overall... the location of the wedding was nice, the food was FABULOUS... and I will be having a chocolate fountain with strawberries and peanut butter cookies at my wedding!!! hahahaha
Here are some pictures for your viewing enjoyment...
Sunday: Woke up at 8:30am to go to work. Got home at 4pm and then went out to LA to eat at LaLa's with Chris. Got some Pinkberry and then headed back to Chris' where we watched some tv shows he tivo'd for me.
Had a good weekend.... I get Tuesday and Wednesday off which I'm looking forward to. OH! And Vegas!!! I can't wait... going Memorial Day Weekend... have to start saving money NOW!!!
